From your first call to your visit here and beyond, every step is designed to give you clarity, support, and space to make the decision that’s right for you, all at no cost.
Before your appointment
When you call, text or schedule online, a caring member of our team will help you find a location and appointment time that works best for you. They can answer any initial questions you may have and help prepare you for your visit. Every conversation is confidential, and you will always be treated with respect - no pressure, no judgment.
When you come in
When you arrive at Mosaic Virginia, you’ll be welcomed into a calm, caring environment where you are valued and respected.
After checking in, you’ll meet with a trained advocate who is there just for you. In this safe space, you can talk openly about what you’re going through, ask questions, and share concerns—no pressure, no judgment. Your advocate will listen with compassion and support as she asks about your unique situation.
Then, you will meet with a caring, medical professional for a one-on-one consultation. She will take time to get to know your situation, answer your questions, and clearly explain medical information and services to help you move forward with confidence. You may get a pregnancy test, ultrasound (if eligible), and a health assessment. All services are provided at no cost to you.
After the nurse is finished, you’ll return to your advocate to explore your options and next steps. Your advocate will listen and support you as you process all you have learned.
Ongoing support & resources
Your visit doesn’t end when your appointment is over. Depending on your needs, we can offer you ongoing support , such as:
Follow-up appointments and continuing care
Classes in our Parenting program
Practical support such as baby items
Referrals for housing and community services
Support for your partner, if applicable
Our goal is to make sure you feel supported not just in the moment, but in the days and weeks ahead—whatever you decide.
