What to expect during your visit
When making an appointment, wait at least one day after your missed period before getting tested. This gives your body a chance to produce a detectable amount of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG).
Our registered nurses will meet with you to discuss your medical history and run a pregnancy test. If your test result is positive, they may schedule you for a limited ultrasound exam to confirm the pregnancy.
Our nurse will also provide accurate information about abortion options, including the risks involved. Your trained advocate will also listen to your concerns and answer questions, with respect and kindness.
