Parenting
Becoming a parent unexpectedly can feel intimidating at first. But with the right support, this can be a viable and fulfilling option. Mosaic provides resources to help you, including:
Parenting classes and support groups
Our Housing program, called Mosaic House

We partner with over 70 local agencies to provide additional help and guidance. Our experienced staff will be with you every step of the way, offering encouragement and practical support
Making an Adoption Plan
If you feel you’re not ready for the day-to-day raising of a child, adoption is another parenting option to consider. Today adoption plans are highly flexible and can be tailored to your preferences. Options include:
Open adoption: Have a relationship with the baby and adoptive family with planned visits
Semi-open adoption: Communicate through a third party, receive updates and photos
Closed adoption: No direct contact is maintained (a rare choice, but available)
We can refer you to several reputable adoption agencies. They will advise you on your rights, help you choose the adoptive family you want for your child, and make sure that you are fully educated and informed.
